Car enthusiasts are likely familiar with Top Gear, a BBC television series that tests whether vehicles live up to their manufacturers’ claims via outrageous stunts, races and epic challenges —like building an amphibious car, or converting a sedan into a space shuttle. “How hard can it be?” the hosts ask before they begin a challenge.
